Jovan Guerrero

As a young ambitious Entrepreneur, fresh out of community college, Jovan decided to pursue the Marketing Industry. He felt that it was one of Belize’s Industries which could be vastly improved. He knew that by bringing the latest in web technology locally, and continually stretching beyond the boundaries of Belizean web design, along with intelligent and savvy optimizations, his company could positively impact the Belizean Economy.

Jovan has always thought outside the box, and is fearless when it comes to taking risks, (two of the companies greatest assets) but he knew that with the sudden rapid development taking place within Belize, that Belizean Companies would extend their markets outward and need to be represented on the web professionally, but more so, efficiently, when made to perform on the Global Stage. His mission grew distinctive; simple, but definitely not easy. He endeavored to take on the Global Market, by becoming a medium through which Belizean Companies, particularly Tourism Based Companies, could be actively competitive on the World Economic Platform.

Under his management, along with his partner Chris Moguel, Jovan has been successful in progressing through with his vision, and Global Marketing, so appropriately named, has become Belize’s Web Design & Development Company.

Chris Moguel

Chris’s story isn’t unlike most other web designers, in that he began designing and expressing his creative side in the form of hobbies throughout his childhood. But even as a young adult, he wouldn’t have fathomed for even a second of becoming a web designer. In fact, Chris double majored in chemistry and physics while pursuing his Bachelors Degree. He felt genuinely that his career would take him to a physics lab somewhere in the desserts of Nevada, working on some nuclear bombs or who knows what. It was during his time as a scholar, when he began pursuing web based design. He soon found himself becoming engrossed in his works, sometimes working for 15 hours on end, trying to put together his latest creations. His designs would sate his passion’s hunger, but it would not satisfy his need to share his designs with the rest of the world. He decided to meet this end by plunging into the world of HTML and CSS coding. It would allow him to take his graphic works online, by creating websites on which to showcase them. For some time he continued developing both his skills, pushing the limits of his designs and his web integrations.

A few years later, after having made a considerable dent into a world class portfolio, he decided to switch gears, leaving the land of academia to pursue the creative passion, which had began manifesting itself at his hands, burning and itching to create. He began free-lancing, offering his services to any clients who would hire him. Soon, Chris grew unsatisfied with his rather meager client base, and felt he needed to pursue bigger projects. Fortunately for him, Chris’s life would take a turn that not even he would have been able to anticipate. One of Belize’s highly revered Internet Marketing Firms heard about his free-lance business and his capacity to create intriguing conceptualizations. Jovan Guerrero approached Chris, and asked him to join the Global Marketing Initiative. Chris said yes, and his life has never been more productive, now a Global Marketing partner, and one of Belize’s foremost Web Designers and Developers.

Farah Guerrero

Farah joined the Global Marketing team as General Manager in March of 2009. She spends time in many areas of Global Marketing. She is dedicated to making life good for the company, whether she’s preparing contracts, invoices, managing customer satisfaction or purchasing office supplies. She is a firm believer in the triple-bottom line philosophy of doing business. Farah is dedicated to balance in all aspects of work and life. The position of General Manager allows Farah the opportunity to delve more deeply into the world of Web Design and Internet Marketing.

Farah holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and has five years Human Resources experience working with an international organization.

Ellison Flowers Jr.

Ellison Flowers graduated from the University of Belize in 2001 with an Associate’s Degree in Architecture. He began his career as a draftsman for an Engineering Company and soon after got involved in advertising. Ellison worked for one of the largest sign manufacturing companies in Belize for five years. There he did graphic design and sign manufacturing. This is also where he began to do small jobs for Global Marketing.

In 2006, Ellison decided that it was time for change so he joined another popular advertising company and continued his work as a graphic designer. In October 2008, the opportunity arose to work with Global Marketing, an opportunity he wasn’t about to miss. Since Ellison and Jovan have known each other since childhood, the change was a welcome one.

Ellison is a Graphic Designer at Global Marketing and is learning more every day about Web Design and Development. In his spare time, Ellison enjoys going to the gym and hopes to someday become Mr. Belize. :-)

Duane Cano

Duane Cano attained his Associate’s Degree in Technical Science from St. John’s College where he won first place in their 1997-1998 Art Exhibition. He later went on to studies in Architecture from the University of Belize. Duane won various awards in his arts and architecture classes and especially enjoys freehand drawing and sketching.

Duane began his career at one of Belize’s most recognized carpentry shops in Belmopan. There, he worked as an Administrator performing project management duties and designing furniture. He later began working as a Junior Architect. The opportunity presented itself for him to further develop his knowledge of Vector Works, a computer program for architectural and engineering design.

Duane opted to join the Global Marketing team as a Junior Graphic Designer in late 2009. Today, Duane works with various Graphic Design programs and is sharpening his knowledge of Desktop Publishing as a member of the Global Marketing team.

Winston Hope Jr.

Winston always had passion for computer technology but, his journey to becoming a PHP programmer began when he became a student of the University of Belize and took his first programming class, which showed that he had a natural knack for programming. His passion for programming grew until he would learn the entire curriculum for one of his classes over the summer- practicing and honing his skills in creative ways that no other student in his programming classes would do. Having been taught for all his programming classes by Mr. Rabanni, Winston was ready to take on any programming language.

His gradual slide into PHP programming came with his advanced web development class, thought by Mr. Cima at the University of Belize and, it was indeed this class that catapulted him into using PHP as a development tool.

I am fascinated by all things programming and have a strong interest in mastering multi-threaded programming and sharpening my logical capacity.
